Our Mission

Mead Memorial Chapel engages Mead descendants to perpetuate the heritage of the founding family. To this end, we serve extended Mead family and the Waccabuc community in support of religious, cultural, educational, charitable, and other compatible activities.

MMC Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees for Mead Memorial Chapel is an all volunteer board, and are to this day all related by birth or marriage to "Grandma Mead" (Sarah Frances Studwell Mead 1838-1919) who had the chapel built in 1905.

Each board member serves a three year term, each officer is elected each year, as per the bylaws of the Mead Memorial Chapel
